Workplace Giving

Workplace Giving is an easy yet significant way for employees to assist St John Ambulance Australia (NSW) to help people in sickness, distress and suffering through the efforts of our wonderful volunteers.

Once established, Workplace Giving provides both St John Ambulance Australia (NSW) and your organisation an efficient and low maintenance way to support the community in which you live and our volunteers serve. By supporting St John Ambulance Australia (NSW) you will help equip 3,500 volunteers with the resources they need for the service they give such as the treating of over 29,000 casualties each year and the peace of mind to so many others by their presence at numerous sporting and community events across NSW.

How it works?

Workplace Giving donations are deducted from your salary before tax is applied, thus reducing taxable income. Also as donations are made pre-tax, it only costs each employee 52 cents for every dollar they pledge*. The Australian Taxation Office pays the balance. 
* based on a marginal tax rate of 48.5%
