This selection of St John Fact Sheets are a guide to basic first aid procedures. They are regularly updated and align with the current edition of Australian First Aid (4th edition, 7/2009). These may be printed out and displayed in the workplace and home.


Copyright permission
The Fact Sheets are the copyright of St John Ambulance Australia under the Australian Copyright Act 1968. The Fact Sheets, and no part of them, may be reproduced, by any process for any purpose, without written permission from St John.

 

Single copy use
A single copy of each Fact Sheet may be printed out and displayed in one workplace only, or in your home. Please send a brief email ip@stjohn.org.au, detailing how the Fact Sheets will be used. Your email will be acknowledged and will include the disclaimer.

 

Multiple copy use
You must apply for permission to use the Fact Sheets if you intend to print out more than one copy of each Fact Sheet for distribution in the workplace. Please print out and complete the Request for Permission form, and return to the Publications Officer. A Copyright Agreement will be sent to you.

St John First Aid Protocols are for the Australian market only. All care has been taken in preparing the information but St John takes no responsibility for its use by other parties or individuals. St John encourages first aid training as these Fact Sheets are NOT a substitute for first aid training. The Fact Sheets are for use over a 12 month period only. For more comprehensive first aid information please refer to Australian First Aid (4th edition, 7/20009).
