Course description

This course is designed for members of the general public, industry and students and provides you with the knowledge and skills necessary to make you confident and competent to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

CPR Course - Half day (4 hours)

Refresher (2 hours)

Content

• management of the unconscious casualty
• resuscitation techniques
• infection control

Prerequisites

Minimum age for participants is 14 years.

Materials provided

Emergency First Aid: A Quick Guide booklet.

Classes

Conducted at most St John training venues or work sites on request.

Certificate validity

One (1) year.
