First Aid Volunteers on Duty

St John is part of a worldwide organisation.

St John First Aid Volunteers are on duty at large events including the Big Day Out, New Year’s Eve celebrations, the Royal Easter Show, and the City 2 Surf. In addition, St John volunteers are often best known for their presence at local sporting, school and community events.

In NSW alone, each year St John:

• Supports and trains around 3400 first aid volunteers
• Treats more than 30,000 casualties
• Supports 107 divisions
• Provides over 480,000 hours of voluntary training and first aid services
• Spends in excess of 90,000 refreshing volunteer first aid and advanced life support skills
